Arrived in Singapore yesterday after about 26 hours of travel time but resisted the urge to fall asleep via lots of tea and coffee. Got to The Green Kiwi Backpackers Hostel only to find out that they only take cash so I went across town to Little India in search of a place called Mustafa's (best exchange rate in town). After checking in and taking my glorious post-travel shower I had myself another cup of coffee, grabbed my camera, and headed out to Marina Bay to wander around. What I found was a city that is way too clean and shiny and expensive (for my current $10 a day budget). Here's a mall with a Venetian canal inside of it...
And anywhere where three towers are connected via giant sky boat is somewhere that is probably going to be slightly out of my price range ha! Off to Malaysia I go!
